Who can use these products?
Anyone aged 18+ who enjoys relaxation, aromatherapy and wants to partake in the magic of self-care.
Are your featured products cruelty-free?
Yes, all products featured are cruelty-free. There is no animal testing involved.
Do your featured products use toxic ingredients?
We like our products like our relationships: non-toxic! Our featured products are mostly handmade with clean, natural ingredients. For those that are not, they are scientifically formulated without harsh chemicals.
Okay, but are your products sensitive skin-friendly?
Our founder has sensitive skin, lifelong eczema and occasionally gets contact dermatitis from trying new products. While all featured items are made with natural ingredients and are meant to be friendly for all skin, there are notably several featured items that are specifically formulated for sensitive skin and that our founder recommends, including: the Calming Sea Salt Bar and the Basic Bar in the KOS soap sampler set. Please review the ingredients listed before purchasing. When in doubt, leave it out... of your cart!
Also, remember that everyone is different and may not have the same reactions or tolerance to products. If you have sensitive skin you should always test a new product, even natural ingredients, on a patch of skin (such as forearm or foot) and note any reactions within 24 hours prior to using.
Are your featured products eco-friendly?
Yes. Our featured products are minimally packaged using recyclable materials to help reduce waste and minimize our impact on the environment.
Additionally, all of our order deliveries are carbon neutral. We’re sourcing offsets from the Acapa – Bajo Mira y Frontera Forest Conservation Project in Colombia through Pachama to counteract the emissions from shipping every order.
Do you use ethical sourcing? Are your suppliers from the U.S.?
Yes, all our suppliers are U.S. small businesses, most of which make and package their own products. We prefer suppliers who use fair-trade certified ingredients whenever possible and/or are otherwise socially conscious like us. YUNI is the more established company in our store and boasts ethical transparent supply chains.
Where are you located?
Our shop is currently online only, however, we are based in New York City (land of the Lenape people).
Are any of your featured products made locally in New York City?
Many of the handmade products are from makers based in New York City and we are proud to be able to support them along with our other small business suppliers across the U.S.
How do you support women-owned businesses?
Our shop is woman-owned, specifically Latina-owned. Most of the products featured in our shop are from women-owned or women co-owned small businesses.
Do you provide international shipping?
Our shop currently only ships domestically within the US.
How are orders shipped?
Most orders ship on the same or the next business day. Please allow up to five (5) business days for order processing. Items may ship separately. We will email you tracking information after you've placed your order. You may also track your order using the Shop app.
